Hello! Today I have the lovely Emily from Emily Jane here for an interview! Definitely check her blog out, it's wonderful! Here we go. :)
I have been reading Elsie Larson's blog 'A Beautiful Mess' since I was 9 years old and I loved reading it, she inspired me with her beautiful paintings so much! When I started to become home-schooled in 6th Grade, my mum suggested blogging as a fun way to practice my writing. My blog used to be random photos of me on Photo Booth, when I look back now I'm so embarrassed!
- I love your fashion posts. What's your favourite thing about creating them?
I love choosing what outfit to wear, and doing my hair to match. I also love driving around with my mum and finding new places to take photos. It's really fun to do together, and I usually take photos of her as well for her blog!
I love finding new friends and other bloggers my age, if it wasn't for blogging and the internet, we wouldn't have even known all these people existed! I love finding people who have things in common with me who might live on the other side of the world. I also love to read my comments, and get lovely emails. It is just so lovely!
- What are your favourite colours for Spring?
Probably yellows and pinks, maybe mint green too. I love floral patterns for Spring!
- What's one word to describe your blog?
I have learned not to copy other peoples hard work and ideas. I never used to really think about copying, but through blogging I've seen others copied, and have been copied myself, and it isn't very nice. It is sad when you spend hours working on something, only to have someone steal your whole idea. You might come up with the exact same idea as someone along the way, and that's okay (it's bound to happen with so many people on the internet!), just as long as you don't intentionally do it, and change up the post a bit, to make it fresh and exciting!
- In ten years, what do you think your blog will be like?
Hmm, I am not really sure! But I am hoping that I will still be doing fashion + diy posts, maybe have a few more sponsors and working with brands! I want to keep my blog personal though, and not have the whole things sponsored posts. I hope I will still have some of the same readers I have today!
Thank you Emily for the interview! If you guys want to have a look at Emily's blog, check it out here. :)
