New things

posted on: 1 June 2014

Hello, sorry for the extremely long break from blogging. Essays and maths are lame, and take up way too much of my time.

Anyway, since we have a long weekend this week, I decided to get my paints out and give the blog a bit of a makeover, and retouched a few things. There's still some things to do on the template, but I'll save that for another day.

I also made a new Facebook page for Floralled too, which is kinda confusing for me at the moment, but I'd really appreciate it if you went over and gave it a like here. My twitter is also back into action and I'm about to start posting on it again, so if you want to keep updated on posts, it's right here too.

And the last news is (!!!!!) I got a new DSLR camera! Most of my savings are gone (oops) but it was worth every cent, and now I can take the type of photos that I want in my posts. The camera I was using previously was at least 10 years old, so you can imagine it was getting frustrating to use. Only a quarter of the shoots I took actually made it onto my blog, due to the others being grainy or blurry. It was quite good for macro shots, but that was it.

I can't wait to shoot some editorials and other stuff with my camera to put on here, so hopefully I'll be busy with that in the next month.
Have a nice week!

    1. Hi Cory,

  5. Hi Anna,

I am saving up for a 700d and I was wondering if you need the extra lens to blur the background of a person in a photo?

    1. I got the twin lens kit containing the 18-55mm lens, and it's quite good for blurring the background. There's also settings on the camera too for this. x

hello! thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. I read every single one, and if you have a blog too, feel free to leave your url so I can check out your blog. x
